Elmer "Buzz" George Jacobs

Elmer George Jacobs, “Buzz” 96, a Cape Coral, Florida resident since 2002, formerly of Lakeview, PA, passed away Saturday, April 5^th, 2025, in Cape Coral.  He was born March 25^th, 1929, in Philadelphia, PA to Elmer and Maria Jacobs, now deceased.

Buzz was a US Army Korean War veteran.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Nancy Jacobs of Cape Coral; three sons, Robert Jacobs of Cape May, NJ, Richard Jacobs and wife Cindi of Green Lane, PA and Thomas Jacobs and wife Michelle of Doylestown, PA; 11grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Buzz was preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Powers and a sister, Lorraine Horwath.

A memorial service with US Army honors will take place in the future at the Washington’s Crossing National Cemetery, Buck’s County, PA.  Day and time to be announced.
