Eric "Uffe" Ulf Palmgren

Eric Ulf Palmgren, 65, a North Ft. Myers resident since 2006, formerly of Stockholm, Sweden, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in Cape Coral. He was born November 26, 1949 to John and Ruth Palmgren, now deceased.
Uffe, as we all knew him, was living his dream. He retired at the age of 50 and short after moved to Florida to do what he loved the most, play golf. For those who shared moments with Eric would describe him as an amazing host, beloved father, friend, and husband. He was strong and tenacious; even on his last days he refused to be helped and wanted to care for himself. More than a father, husband, and friend, he was an extraordinary human being that those that had the pleasure to get to know him will definitely looked up to him as a role model. Eric will be missed, but he will forever live in the hearts of all the people that loved him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Rosy Gutierrez, of North Ft. Myers; children, Linda, Alexandra, Jennifer, Mikaela, and Sabina; step children, Monica and Maikel; 11 grandchildren; as well as Lulo the dog.
No formal services are planned at this time.
