Esperanza G. Del Valle

Esperanza G. Del Valle, 69, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 1990, formerly of Elizabeth, NJ, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 in Fort Myers. She was born July 20, 1953 in Cuba to Jorge and Aurora Diaz, now deceased.

Esperanza was of the catholic faith and attended Resurrection Catholic Church. She was a young girl attending catholic schools and achieving her dreams of becoming a nurse. She worked anywhere she thought of just to make money in attending the University of Miami, Rochers University, and volunteered as a nurse in the Dominican Republic while Emilio was becoming a doctor. Esperanza was the eldest of three siblings; her brother Jorge is the youngest and Ana Maria is the middle sibling. Esperanza had multiple hobbies growing up, her favorite was fencing, and then it was ice skating, she also enjoyed reading books. Years passed by and Esperanza and Emilio moved to Fort Myers in 1990. In the year 1993, they gave birth to this beautiful baby girl with red hair and blue eyes, her name is Kristina and ever since then, they have lived in Fort Myers for 32 years.

Esperanza gave back by helping the community and donated to various charities and foundations. Esperanza had a dream to fly to the United Kingdom, and parts of the US she never had a chance to visit. She loved her parents dearly and as of now, she is with them. Esperanza was a wonderful woman, and she will always be that caring person. She is our guardian angel.

She is survived by her loving husband, Emilio Del Valle of Fort Myers; daughter, Kristina Arnold (Joshua) of Blaine, MN; as well as siblings, Ana Maria Castello of Miami, FL, and Jorge Diaz of Melbourne, FL.
