Evelyn Schmidt Quinlan, age 91, passed on to be with her Lord on May 10, 2015. Evelyn was a beloved mother, a fiercely patriotic Navy Veteran and an avid dancer. She was looking forward to a joyful reunion with her family who have proceeded her in death. Husband Edgar Quinlan, also a Navy Veteran, and her sons Wayne and Brad; as well as her parents Ernie and Florence Schmidt have welcomed her home.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Scott, daughter-in-law, Rita, and their children, Bret and Kinsey Quinlan of Alva. She will be missed by her favorite dancing partner, Peter Petritis and her friends at Fountaincrest in Lehigh Acres.

She also leaves behind family on Florida's East Coast, including grandchildren Shane Quinlan, Stacy Quinlan and her son, Noah. She will be missed by Debbie Quinlan McElroy, step granddaughter Kelly Langlois Lavender and Kelly's daughter Kyla. Friends from Whitehall in Boca Raton will also feel her absence.

Evelyn will be honored in a graveside service held 1:00PM, Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Boca Raton Municipal Cemetery, 451 SW 4th Ave, Boca Raton, 33432. In reference, this is located by the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
