Florentino Arencibia Valdez, 70, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL for the past 12 years, formerly of Bridgeport, CT, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 in Fort Myers. He was born August 18, 1951 in Havana, Cuba to Felix and Amada Arencibia, now deceased.
Florentino was of the Christian faith. He was so talented and gifted. He didn’t have much education but he was extremely intelligent and wise. He was a self taught carpenter. He had such a giving heart. He loved to help everyone. He was a wonderful and dedicated father. He always had the best advice no matter the situation, he just knew what to say to make you feel better. He was so strong and determined.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margarita Arencibia of Albany, NY; seven loving children, Luis Ruiz of Miami, FL, Mayelin Arencibia of Cuba, Michael Arencibia of Cuba, Yonaika Arencibia of Cuba, Irina Arencibia of Cuba, Flor Arencibia of Albany, NY, and Felix Arencibia of Amsterdam, NY; two sisters; seventeen grandchildren; as well as four great grandchildren.
No formal services are planned at this time.
