George Otto Becker, 77, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 1982, formerly of West Long Branch, NJ, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024 in Fort Myers, FL. He was born February 11, 1947 in Long Branch, NJ to George and Louise Becker, now deceased.

George was of the Roman Catholic Faith. He was a graduate of Shore Regional High School in West Long Branch, NJ and Trenton State College in NJ. He taught Industrial Education for several years, then opened his own automotive business in Long Branch, NJ. After relocating to Florida, he owned and operated several boatlift businesses and became very well known in the industry.

He is survived by loving wife of 49 years, Linda Becker (nee Thrall) of Fort Myers, FL; three children, George Becker (Lisa) of Cape Coral, Jenny Schiavone (George) of Bradenton, FL, and Tori Becker of Fort Myers, FL; sister, Lorna Becker of Neptune, NJ; twin nieces, Joy Carter and Dawn Carter; niece, Olivia Thrall; two great nieces, Kylie and Emily; as well as six grandchildren, Joey, Eric, Kira, and triplets Sophia, Maxwell, and Emma.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Iona Hope Episcopal Church, 9650 Gladiolus Drive, Fort Myers 33908.
