George Thomas Kociuba

George Thomas Kociuba, 62, a Cape Coral, Florida resident for the past 28 years, formerly of the Bronx, New York, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in Cape Coral. He was born November 30, 1953 in the Bronx, NY to George and Helen Kociuba, now deceased. George was retired manager from Firestone Complete Auto Care where he always brought a smile to his customer's faces. He spent years as a fishing boat captain in the Bronx. He was an avid sci-fi fanatic. George loved Star Wars and Godzilla especially. George attended St. Andrew Catholic Church in Cape Coral. He was a friend of Bill for the past 23 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Barbara Kociuba of Cape Coral; three loving children, Valerie Marshall (David - U.S. Army) of Hawaii and Cape Coral, Danielle Kociuba (Alan Trottier) of Orlando, FL, and Brittany Kociuba of Cape Coral; as well as a grandson, Joshua Mars of Cape Coral. George was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Kociuba and a brother, Gregory Kociuba. No formal services are planned at this time.
