Georgia Marie Davis

Georgia Marie Davis of Cape Coral, FL passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025. She was born in Rockford, Illinois to the late Marvin C Davis, Sr. and Sophie Rose (Harezlak) Davis. Her sisters’, Alberta (Wes) Wipf and Roberta (Bill) Galloway preceded her in death.  She is survived by her brother, Marvin (Christine) Davis, Jr, of Phoenix, AZ,  ten nieces and nephews, and fiancé, Lyle Pearson of Punta Gorda, FL. 

Georgia was a kind spirit and loved by all who met her. She studied Fine Art/Design and Business. She graduated with a Degree in Fine Art & Design at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, IL. She loved interior design and was self-employed operating Silver Spoon Design Studio in Rockford and East Troy Wisconsin. She was a licensed real estate agent in the State of Illinois as well as worked as an Administration Assistant/ Office Manager for the City of Rockford. Later career steps took her to become an Executive Secretary at Sunstrand Corporation and also at Amrock. Georgia was a very passionate and lifelong Green Bay Packers fan.  

A Visitation and Celebration of Life service will be held from 5-6 pm on Wednesday, March 19th at Mullins Memorial Funeral Home, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33916.

A visitation and burial service will be handled by Olson Funeral Services, North Main Chapel in Rockford, IL. She will be laid to rest next to her mother in St Mary’s Cemetery, Rockford, IL on Monday, March 31, 2025.
