Glenn Walter Hartwig, 53, a Lee County resident for the past 50 years, passed away on November 10, 2014 in Ft. Myers, FL. He was born on August 10, 1961 in Biloxi, MS.
Glenn was in the Army for four years as an Air Traffic Controller, worked for Brent's Music for twenty-two years, and was retired from the Post office with twenty-eight years in. Glenn loved to travel all over the Country and loved Nascar like no other.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rhonda S. Hartwig of North Ft. Myers; parents, Walter and Elizabeth Hartwig of North Ft. Myers; daughter, Bonnie Strom of North Ft. Myers; siblings, Brian Hartwig of North Ft. Myers, Allen Hartwig (Loretta) of Arizona, Scott Hartwig and (Connie) of North Ft. Myers, and Annette Unger (Geoff) of Ft. Myers; three nephews; mother-in-law Bonda Lentz of Punta Gorda; as well as Buster, the dog.
