Gloria Elizabeth (Frattali) Bailey

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gloria Elizabeth (Frattali) Bailey, who left us on June 10, 2024, at the age of 88. She was born on April 3, 1936 and was the daughter of Louis and Olga Frattali now deceased and sister, Barbara Ilvento who passed away in 2015. Her brother Eugene resides in Groton, CT.

Gloria was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Frank Bailey Jr. of Fort Myers, FL. She was a dedicated and loving mother to two children, David Bailey (Deanna) of Warwick, RI, and Debbie Brent (Ken) of Fort Myers, FL; a cherished grandmother to seven grandchildren, Alexii, Ashley, Tate, Benjamin, Grant, Kendall and Michael; as well as one great-grandchild, Lilly.

She grew up in Groton, CT and moved to Ft. Myers, FL over 30 years ago. She graduated from Fitch Senior High School and worked in the restaurant industry most of her career while in Groton. After retiring and moving to Fort Myers, Gloria was an avid golfer, enjoyed time with her friends, cooking and taking care of her family.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Groton, CT and St Therese Catholic Church in North Fort Myers, FL. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Details to be announced via www.MullinsMemorial.com.
