Gracie Mae Fraley

Gracie Mae Fraley, 79, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since June of 2022, formerly of Millsboro, DE, passed away Monday, September 26, 2022 in Cape Coral. She was born January 19, 1943 in Winchester, KY to Fred and Allie Sparks, now deceased.

Gracie was of the Christian faith. She was most proud of her title as "Gigi" to her great-grandchildren. She spent many years working in schools with children, where she was known to most as "Granny". It was more than a job to her, she felt it was her purpose, and it fulfilled her. She loved spending time with family and friends, and making people laugh. Anyone she met instantly became a friend.

She is survived by her loving children, James Fraley (Pam) of Milford, DE, Anthony Fraley of Portsmouth, VA, Karen Fraley of OH, Angela Fraley of Cape Coral, FL and Jennifer Schmalz (Gary) of Portsmouth, VA; grandchildren, Charity Schmalz, Autumn Stratton (Ed) , Dustin Fraley, Trevon Waters, and Joseph Martin; as well as great grandchildren, Aiden Stratton, Nolan Stratton, Rowan Stratton, Emersyn Stratton, and Everly Stratton.

Gracie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earnest Fraley in 2018.

A celebration of life will be held on October 17, 2022 at Calvary Assembly of God in Dover, DE.
