GwendolynCarol Pritchard, 66, of Fort Myers, FL passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018. She was born July 3, 1952 in Salem, Florida to JD and Jessie Jackson, now deceased. Gwendolyn was a born-again Christian. She professed faith in the Death,Burial, and Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ.Gwen moved to Punta Gorda,FLwith her parents at two years of age. She grew up in Punta Gordaandmarried Leslie Pritchard Jr. at seventeen years old. They resided in Fort Myers, FLand had a total of eight children. Gwen's biggest joy was children,whether her own grandchildren,or any that lovingly referred to her as Grandma P. Gwendolyn is survived byher children, TracieHallock (Joshua) of North Fort Myers, FL, Leslie Pritchard III, of Fort Myers, FL Amanda Pritchard of North Fort Myers, JD Pritchard of Fort Myers, Cornelius Pritchard of Punta Gorda,John Roy Pritchard (Katherine) of North Fort Myers, Jack Pritchard of Alva, FLand Mary Miller of Alva;four sisters,Doris(Dot)Morgan of AL, Janie Pryor of Trenton, GA,Audrey Collins of Punta Gorda and Joyce Ann Clemensof Punta Gorda; 4 grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie PritchardJr.;sister,MaryEthel Moree; brothers,Lester Jackson,James Jackson, JA Jackson and Ander Jackson. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM onFriday, November 16, 2018 at Tri-City Baptist Church,24058 Heritage Place, Port Charlotte, FL33980 with Pastor Sheppard officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will take place at Indian Springs Cemetery immediately following the church service.
