Harold “Hal” Lawrence Dever, Jr., 76, a resident of Fort Myers, FL for more than 60 years, formerly of Decatur, AL, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020 in Fort Myers. He was born October 18, 1943 in Decatur, AL to Harold and Patricia Dever, Sr., now deceased.
Hal was of the Christian faith and was a member of City Gate Ministries in Fort Myers. He also served in The United States Airforce.
He is survived by his beloved wife of over 56 years, Jane Dever of Fort Myers; three loving children, Jeff Dever (Virginia) of Fort Myers, Kelli Dever, also of Fort Myers, and Shawn Dever (Trish) of Estero, FL; five grandchildren, Casey Dever, Derek Dever, Branan Edwards, Danielle Plecki, and Dylan Plecki; as well as eight great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 22, 2020 at City Gate Ministries, 1735 Jackson Street, Fort Myers, FL 33901 with Pastor David Pleasant officiating.
