Harold Leon "Lee" Crews, II

August 15, 1961 — June 13, 2025

Harold Leon “Lee” Crews, II, a lifelong Fort Myers, Florida, resident, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025, after a nearly 10-year battle with Neuroendocrine Cancer.  He was born on August 15, 1961, in Fort Myers to the late Harold L. Crews and Patricia Crews, who survives him and still resides in Fort Myers. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his beloved wife of seven years, Meredith Crews of Fort Myers; one son, Robert “Bobby” Crews and wife Sara, also of Fort Myers; as well as his mother-in-law, Nancy Betts and Brother-in-law Caleb Betts; and an estranged sister, Vivian.

Lee was driven to work hard from a young age. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and graduated from Riverdale High School before attending the University of Central Florida, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Lee will always be remembered as a people person. He never met a stranger and conducted himself with honesty and integrity, never being afraid to let people know how he felt. Lee was always there to lend a hand to his friends and family, and he took pride in being an active member of the community. He was involved with several organizations, including the Boy Scouts, Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, and his church, the Gulf Coast Church of Christ. He enjoyed spending his time tinkering, whether it was in the shop doing carpentry or on various projects at his home with Meredith. Lee was always available to spend time with, whether it was for lunch or just as a passenger on errands, he just wanted to be present. Lee Crews will be sorely missed as Husband, Father, Son, and friend to many.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Gulf Coast Church of Christ, 9550 Six Mile Cypress Parkway, Fort Myers, Florida 33966, with Pastor Randy Simmons officiating.
