Heidemarie Elizabeth Pilz

Heidemarie Elizabeth Pilz, 64, a Cape Coral, FL resident for the past two years, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, FL passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in Cape Coral. She was born November 6, 1951 in Bavaria, Germany to George and Irmgard Walter, now deceased. Heidemarie was an amazing wife and mother. She lived for her family. She battled through breast cancer for 10 years, and did it with grace, selflessness, and the sheer will to spend as much time with her family as possible. She will be missed unmeasurably. She is survived by her beloved husband of 29 years, Josef Pilz of Cape Coral; four loving children, Andrew Vettese (Amy) of Newman, GA, Samantha Szorady and Son in law Donnie Stalter of Coral Springs, FL, Carina Pilz of Cape Coral, James Pilz of Newman, GA; brother, Detlef Walter (Anita) of VanCouver, Canada; five grandchildren, Laura, Darren, Parker, Hannah, and Collin; as well as babygirl, the family Cocker Spaniel.
