Helen Nadine Ratliff

Helen Nadine Ratliff, 74, a resident of Jacksons’ Gap, AL for the past 14 years, formerly of Matewan, WV, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 in Cape Coral, FL. She was born September 1, 1942 in Matewan, WV to Lloyd and Helen Ratliff of McCarr, Ky. now deceased.

Nadine was a great mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a straightforward tell it like it is kind of person. My sister and I were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from her during her 74 years. Erin and I like to call them Nadine-isms.

“There’s nothing duct tape, scissors, and a little bit of paint can’t fix.”

Nadine was well loved and will be terribly missed as she has left us with great memories and many words of wisdom.

She is survived by two loving children, Amy Pribnow (Steve) of Cape Coral, FL and Erin McGlone of Fond Du Lac, WI; five loving siblings, Joe Ratliff of Jacksons Gap, AL, Elaine Varney of Williamson, WV, Andrea Stratton of Jacksons Gap, AL, Robin Brown of North Matewan, WV, and Ronnie Ratliff of Columbus, Oh, now deceased; three grandchildren, Zachary, Madison, and Riley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

No formal services are planned at this time.
