Helga C. Wallis

Helga Conway Wallis, 65, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past year, formerly of Pensacola, FL, passed away in March 2019. She was born April 7, 1953 in Fort Dix, NJ to William and Irmgard Conway, now deceased. Helga was of the Catholic faith. She was a proud American Veteran who valued education and dedicated her life to serving others both during her military service and in her civilian work for the Department of Veterans Affairs.She was an alumna of the University of West Florida and was passionate about caring for animals in need. She is survived by two loving children, Kathleen Ascanio (Deiby) of Winterville, NC and Christopher Wallis (Robert Messer) of Franklin, NC. Private family services will be held at a later date.
