Jack Charles Hanlon passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 at the life fulfilling age of 93, with family by his side in Cape Coral, Florida.
Born in Allegheny, Pennsylvania and later a long time resident of the Lake Cable community in Canton, Ohio, Jack served his town in several ways, one being one of the founding members of the Jackson Township Lions Club. He also served as a member on the Pro Football Hall of Fame committee and volunteered his time at the Canton Hockey Club. Jack worked for the Gordon Bernard Company as a sales representative for many years and held that job dear to his heart. His hobby after retirement was building his family tree and finding out about his heritage and ancestors. Jack was able to live his later years independently at home because of the care his Granddaughter Jackie and her boyfriend Jeremy gave to him.
Jack is preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Florence Evelyn (Bonsey) and Charles Hanlon; wife, Carol Hanlon; as well as daughter, Kimberly Langman and son, Michael Hanlon.
He is survived by his son, Kevin Hanlon; grandchildren, Ryan Hanlon, Jackie Hanlon (Jeremy), Ashley Sponaugle (Jeff), and Kristin Sponaugle; great-grandchildren Ryan Hanlon, Michael Irvin Jr., and Willa Wagner.
Per his request, no services will be held.
