Jack Warren Ellison

Jack Warren Ellison, 56, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for 28 years, formerly of Miami, FL, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 in Cape Coral. He was born May 17, 1968 in Miami, FL.

Jack was of the Roman Catholic faith. He was an Alumni of Christopher Columbus High School in Miami Florida. Jack was an amazing Son, Father, Husband, Brother, Uncle and More. He was a renowned Chef by trade and loved cars, the everglades and his Cabin in Georgia. Jack adored his son, Hunter Fox Ellison. As a dedicated family man, he loved adventure and could tell countless stories of his exciting childhood and life. Jack was a dedicated and loving father to his son, Hunter Fox Ellison, who was the light of his life, and was a father figure to his nephew Rush Manterola. He and his Father, Jack Ellison, ruled the everglades along with many of his uncles and cousins. Lastly he was a great son to his Mother, Darlyn Collete, who he cared for during his last days, he was definitely a Mama's boy. He will be greatly missed by his best friends and Sister Terri.

He is survived by his loving mother, Darlyn Collette of Cape Coral, FL; son, Hunter Ellison of Cape Coral, FL; sister, Terri Ellison of Cape Coral (Miami), FL; uncle, Roger Collette (Fran) and their children Bonnie and Darren of Miami, FL; godfathers, Roy Bellavia and Charles Bellavia of Miami, FL; niece, Finley Pearsall of Crystal Springs, FL; two nephews, Rush Manterola of Cape Coral, FL and Ethan Pantoja of Miami, FL; former wife, Vickie Fox of Cape Coral, FL; as well as many others members of the extended Ellison Family.

Jack was preceded in death by his father, Jack Alanson Ellison; his sister, Darray Crystal Johnson; grandmother, Ann O'Donnell Collette; grandfather, Warren Collette; grandfather, Charles Ellison (Marion) and his many uncles, and cousins.
