James Anthony “Tony” Barnello

August 18, 1982 - February 1, 2019

James Anthony Barnello “Tony”, 36, a resident of Atlanta, GA for the past six years, formerly of Cape Coral, FL, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 in Atlanta, GA. He was born August 18, 1982 in Washington, DC.

Tony was of the Catholic faith. He was an avid skydiver and loved being the brightest light in the room. He had a special talent and could make anyone and everyone laugh. He always had time for his family and friends, eager to support his loved ones through difficult times. Tony was a dreamer and lived life to the fullest. He loved his family and friends unconditionally with an open, full heart. Without a doubt, he was a truly unique “one of a kind” man with a larger than life personality. Tony left an everlasting impression on everyone he encountered, especially those who knew and loved him intimately.

Tony is survived by his loving mother, Nancy J. Barnello of Cape Coral, FL and father, William A. Barnello, Jr. (Maribeth) of Midland, GA; brother, William A. Barnello, III “Billy” (Bethany) of Brighton, CO; two nieces, Arianna and Rehanna; two nephews, William A. IV and Liam; maternal grandmother, Barbara Shaw of North Fort Myers, FL; paternal grandparents, William A. Barnello, Sr. (Josephine) of North Syracuse, NY; as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019, at the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens, for details contact a family member.
