James Morris Faircloth, Sr., 81, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2014, formerly of Big Pine Key, FL, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020 in Cape Coral. He was born June 1, 1939 in Lumberton, NC to Stanley and Ruth Faircloth, now deceased.
James was of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Army. He was an avid fisherman and loved to fish in the keys. A Carpenter by trade, he built big bridges and strong houses. He will be remembered for his wonderful fish fry’s and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Carole Rose Faircloth of Cape Coral, FL; three loving children, James Faircloth, Jr. of Summerville, GA, Lucia Christine Weaver (Brad) of Landrum, SC, and Tracy Lee Faircloth of Big Pine Key, FL; brother, Jimmy Roy Faircloth of Alexandria, LA; three grandchildren, Becky Stampfli, Melanie Chevalier, and Christopher Stampfli (Christine); five great grandchildren, Miley Romero, Kurt Sherman, III, Edward Mann, Kameron Stampfli, and Michael Stampfli: as well as one great-great grandchild.
