"Jesse" James Roger Pariseau, 76, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away on October 1, 2023. Born on September 6, 1947, in Medford, Massachusetts, Jesse was a beloved father, grandfather, and partner.
James, also known as Jesse, was a man of many passions and interests. He had a deep love for sailing and spent countless days out on the ocean, finding solace in the gentle breeze and the peacefulness of the sea. His enthusiasm for skiing was infectious, and he would often take his family on trips to Sugarbush mountain, sharing his love for the sport with his loved ones.
Jesse was a true storyteller and jokester, always the life of the party. He had a knack for making people smile and think with his captivating stories and jokes. His friends held a special place in his heart, and he cherished the lifelong friendships he maintained from childhood and young adulthood. Jesse's creative nature shone through his master carpentry skills, as he designed and built elaborate pieces that showcased his brilliance.
In addition to his many interests, Jesse had a successful career as a Marine Engineer. His expertise in this field allowed him to leave a lasting impact in his profession.
Outside of his career, Jesse enjoyed a wide range of hobbies. He found joy in watching classic movies, particularly in the genres of sci-fi, comedy, and suspense. Jesse was an avid reader amassing and impressive library, a regular golfer, and enjoyed playing backgammon and cards. Carpentry was not just his profession at times, but also a hobby that allowed him to express his talent. And of course, Jesse had a sweet tooth and loved indulging in snacks.
Jesse is survived by his best friend and partner, Gayle, as well as his children, Brendon, Jeff, Jim, and Lauren. He will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Emilia, Gracie, Nevaeh, Colton, and Dakota.
Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Roger Pariseau and Betty Pariseau.
