James "Jim" Cummings, III

Jim Cummings, a resident of Cape Coral for 37 years, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 in Ft. Myers. He was born February 6, 1942 in Washington DC. Both his mother & step-father (Mary & Elmer Andrews) are now deceased. Jim was the owner and operator of Cummings Lawn Service for over 28 years. He is survived by his loving son, Vince Cummings of Cape Coral; siblings, Chris Cummings and his partner Jean Cullen of Cape Coral, Marie Dickson (Ben) of Cape Coral, Hugh Cummings (Pam) of Gaithersburg, MD, John Andrews (Bonnie) of Ocean Springs, MS and Pam Andrews of Cape Coral. Inurnment will take place at the Sarasota National Cemetery on Monday, November 30, 2015 with Military Honors being presented.
