James "Jimmy" Anthony Abate

James "Jimmy" Anthony Abate, 66, a resident of North Fort Myers, Florida, formally Silver Spring, Maryland and Topeka, Kansas passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 in Cape Coral, Florida. He was born January 27, 1957 in Washington, DC to Anthony and Helen Abate, now deceased.

James was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his loving sister, Cindy Clapsaddle (James), of North Fort Myers; and many nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by a nephew, Gary Blackburn.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916 with Pastor David Pleasant and Pastor Matt Richard officiating.
