James Johnson

James (Jim) Johnson, 52, of Cape Coral, Florida, originally from Minnesota, passed away on October 10, 2015 at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born January 31, 1963 in St. Paul, MN. Preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Gloria Johnson, and oldest brother, Donnie Johnson. Jim lost his battle with cancer after a courageous fight. His positive attitude, and love for life were what made him great to all who knew him. Jim will be missed by his brother, five sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends, both in Florida and Minnesota. Jim thoroughly enjoyed exercising at Planet Fitness in Cape Coral. He was a hard worker at Jason's Deli, in Fort Myers, Jerry's Foods on Sanibel Island and Travel Tags, in Minnesota. He was an avid sports fan, of the Vikings and Wild. He is survived by six loving siblings, Judy (Bill) Pince, Angie (Jim) Latchaw, Debbie (Dave) Gallatin, Terry (Wes) Tribbett, Pat (Paul) Tribbett, and Tony (Sharon) Johnson. No formal services are planned in Florida, however a celebration of Jim's life is planned on November 7, 2015 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at VFW Post 295, 111 Concord Exchange So., South St. Paul, MN 55075. Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.
