James (Jim) Gordon Miller, 90, a resident of Lee County, FL since 2013, formerly of Troy, MI, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022, in Fort Myers, FL. He was born on January 8, 1932, in New Kensington, Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Penny Miller of Cape Coral, FL; daughter, Misty Silverman of Canton, MI; granddaughters, Makayleigh and Lexis; and sister and brother-in-law, Melanie (Rusty) and Richard Steele.
James was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah (Miller) Markham and stepfather, Fred Markham.
Memorial Contributions in memory of Jim Miller are suggested to the St. Anthony Zuni Indian Mission, The Wounded Warriors Project and The Shriners.
