James Joseph Roy

James (Papa) Roy, passed away peacefully on Monday morning in his sleep. He was a wonderful man who had many friends and loved ones who had the opportunity to share their lives with him.

Jim was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife, Rose and a brother, Michael J Roy.

He is survived by his children, Linda Maczko and Ron Caracoglia; stepchildren but treated like his own children, Joseph Ferris, Timothy Ferris (his wife, Cindy) and Michael Ferris.  Four siblings, Ernest Roy, Jr. of Londonderry, NH, Thomas K Roy (his wife, Kathy) of San Diego, CA, Patti A Alexander (her husband, Doug) of Salem, NH, William K Roy (his wife, Sharon) of Waterford, ME.  His many Grandchildren were Jordan, Nevaeh, Connor, Ariana, Clayton, Jillian, Caitlyn, Brayden, Adam , Samantha, Ron Jr., Felicity, Hailley, Anthony, Dylan, Travis, and Savannah as well as two Great Granddaughters, Raeleigh and Iris. His grandson, Connor Ferris, was his pride and joy and he was like a second father to Connor.

Jim enjoyed bocce, riding his trike and spending time with his countless friends at the Sandoval community of Cape Coral and at Torched Bar and Grill.  He spent everyday enjoying life to its fullest.  He will always be remembered by everyone for his endless stories and positive outlook on life. Heaven gained a special soul and his love will live on with all those that he leaves behind.
