James Eugene Sheaf

1947-2023

Jim “Pop” Sheaf, a long-time resident of the area passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2023.  Jim was born on May 19, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio to Robert and Joanna Sheaf, where he resided until the mid-1970’s when he and his family relocated to Florida. 

He was employed in the aluminum industry as a self-taught draftsman and plant manager, as well as operating his own hurricane shutter businesses.  Later in life he also worked as a technician for Sprint.  He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, fishing, and watching football.

He is survived by his former wife, Sandra Sheaf, son Toby Sheaf, daughter Tina Pollock (Mark), his grandchildren Jordan and Ashley, his mother Joanna, his brothers Robert Jr, Mark, Shane, Todd and Timmy, his sister Mary and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Johnny.
