Jami Michelle Honey

November 18, 1970 — January 13, 2025

Jami Michelle Honey, 54, a resident of Cape Coral for the past ten years, formerly of Fort Lauderdale, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025 in Fort Myers. She was born November 18, 1970 in Saginaw, MI.

Jami was of the Methodist faith. She was an avid photographer and animal lover. Jami had an infectious smile and a unique laugh that brought joy to anyone within ear shot. Jami loved to pass her time hunting for black pearls in the Indian ocean. She knew no strangers and was the loyalist of friends. While Jami did not live a life of ease or prestige, she approached each day with gratitude and humility. Always an advocate for those in need, Jami had a voice as loud as her attitude. She offered hugs freely and love generously. Jami will be missed and thought of always, so raise an ice cold Busch Light in her name and remember all the fun and sometimes embarrassing moments you had if you were lucky enough to experience them.

She is survived by her loving mother, Nancy Honey of Cape Coral; three siblings, Lisa Honey of Loganville, GA, Tiffany Davis (Greg) of Charlotte, NC, and James Honey, IV (Mindy) of Marion, OH; nine nieces and nephews; 18 great nieces and nephews, her loyal companions Rex, Trixi, and Chloi, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jami was preceded in death by her father, James Ledrieu Honey, III.
