Jane Louise Detweiler, 63, of Yardley, PA passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in Ft. Myers, FL at the end of a three month vacation. She was born November 19, 1952 in Newark, NJ.
Jane belonged to the Methodist church. She was a conductor at New Jersey Transit for 18 years before joining her Husband Thomas in retirement in December 2014. She was an avid lover of genealogy, Jimmy Buffett music, her dogs and being surrounded by family and friends.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Thomas Detweiler Sr. of Yardley, PA; loving mother, Rosemary King of Smithville, NJ; three loving children, Thomas M. Detweiler Jr. (Erica) of Fairless Hills, PA, Stacey L. Detweiler also of Fairless Hills, PA, and William C. Detweiler (Hilarie) of Bethlehem, PA: two brothers, Alan King (Stephanie) of Red Bank, NJ and John King (Chris) of Melbourne Beach, FL; as well as nine grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jackson, Madison, Marisa, Kathryn, Rebekkah, Frank, Stacey, Ashley, and Arianna, as well as her large and loving Railroad Family at New Jersey Transit.
Plan for services will be announced at a later date.
Memorial Contributions in memory of Jane Louise Detweiler are suggested to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in honor of her Granddaughter Makenzie or the American Stroke Foundation.
