Janice May Tamaccio, 69, of Cape Coral, FL, formerly from Bucks Co. PA, took a peaceful one-way to Margaritaville, on December 30, 2015 at home with her beguiled husband, Dave and devoted daughter, Kimberly Auclair, by her side. She was born Nov. 14, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA to the late William and May Sherlock.
Janice is also survived by her son, David L. Tamaccio, Jr. (Kris) and grandson, Dalton of Hershey, PA; granddaughters, Erin Hurd (Peter) and Brittney Tamaccio; sister, Mary Jane Spoto (Jerry) and brother, William Sherlock (Barbara) and their children.
She will be remembered for her great beauty, strong will, love of lobster and champagne, love of cooking, tacky pink flamingos, and devotion to her family.
Janice's remains will be scattered in the places that she loved-Bucks Co., PA, Long Beach Island, NJ, Bimini and other Caribbean Islands, North Captiva, Cayo Costa, and Cabbage Key, FL , as well as the Gulf of Mexico (after it warms up to at least 88 degrees).
The family wishes to express their extreme gratitude to Hope Hospice Team 310, and Janice's personal nurse, Marian, aides Claire and Claudette, and nurse Jackie who did all they could to keep her as comfortable as possible during her long decline.
Final care was entrusted to the wonderful Shannon Mullins and staff at Mullins Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Cape Coral, FL.
Memorial contributions in Janice's memory are in care of daughter, Kimberly Auclair at 6873 Raccoon Court, Viera, FL 32940, and will be distributed appropriately.
