Jason Wayne Keith, 46, a resident of Zolfo Springs, FL, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 in Lakeland, FL. He was born January 20, 1975 in Sullivan, IN.
Jay retired from the Florida Department of Corrections after 20 years, advancing through the ranks to Captain. He worked at the following facilities: Hardee Correctional Institution, Hendry Correctional Institution, and Suwannee Correctional Institution. He also worked for Central Florida Casket Store, and Bedrock Wings of Bartow. He loved bowling, golfing, all sports, traveling and his family and friends. His sense of humor was the best. He was also member of the west vigo high band.
He is survived by his loving mother, Linda Romine Keith (Bill Fowler); wife, Krysia Keith; children, Bryanna Keith Fennell (Clifton), Trevor Keith (Olivia), Tyler Keith, and Kasey Juarez; as well as grandchildren, Legend and Londyn Fennell.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Anna Romine; as well as brother, Robert Keith.
A Celebration of life will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, December 17, 2021 at Bartow Golf Course, 190 Idlewood Avenue South, Bartow, FL 33830.
