Jeanne Merritt Bosworth

Jeanne M. Bosworth, previously of New York City, passed away in her home on May 22, 2024 in Cape Coral, Florida.  Her husband had predeceased her.

Jeanne was a graduate of Ithaca College in New York and studied arts and theatre.  She was a professional singer in New York City for a time, and truly had the voice of an angel performing in Summer Stock as well as other venues. 

She was a huge fan of all of the classics, was a voracious reader and had a love of British television and the old classic movies.  She moved to Florida to be near her mother in her later venues and worked in the insurance industry until her passing. 

Jeanne was a woman of deep faith.  She was an active member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Cape Coral for over two decades, which she loved.  She was an Elder at the church, giving of her time generously and serving on many committees. 

Jeanne never stopped checking in on friends and family and gave of herself tirelessly.  She was a loving daughter and is survived by cousins and friends. She was loved and will be missed greatly. 

Much love to you, Jeanne, always and forever.  You are finally home. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Faith Presbyterian Church, 4544 Coronado Pkwy, Cape Coral, FL 33904.
