Jeanne Ruth DeConte

Jeanne Ruth DeConte, 73, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1998, formerly of Guilford, CT, passed away peacefully at Hope Hospice Thursday, May 4, 2023 in Cape Coral, FL. She was born June 26, 1949 in New Haven, CT to Toney DeConte and Emma DeConte Handlowich, now deceased.

She has joined in the heavens with her late sister, Lucille DeConte Sharp and brother, David DeConte both of Guilford, CT as well.

Jeanne was of the Christian faith and attended First Christian Church in Cape Coral on a regular basis. She was a nurse for 50 years and enjoyed caring for those in need, and on her days off she enjoyed the beach with close friends and family.

She is survived by her loving children, Tina Iten of TN, and Anthony Ruggiero of GA; brother, Toney DeConte (Deborah) of Cape Coral; grandchildren, Jessica Marra, David Orifice, Jenna Iten, Paige Ruggiero, Parker Ruggiero, Laura Ruggiero, and Alexzavier Ruggiero; as well as great grandchildren, Carson Marra, Isabella Orifice, Cambrie Marra, Paisley Orifice, Giavanna Orifice, and Liam Davis.
