John William Angelucci

John William Angelucci, 59, a resident of Lee County, FL since 1981, formerly of Allen Park, MI, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in Cape Coral. He was born November 23, 1964 in Wyandotte, MI to Mussimo and Frances, Angelucci, now deceased.

John was of the catholic faith. John graduated from Ft Myers High School in 1982 followed by an associates in radiology from Florida South Western State College. John worked for many years at Lee Memorial Hospital. John will be remembered for the kind care he gave the hospital patients.

Since he lived in Ft Myers area for 43 years, he had many friend groups from High School, College, work, night life. John was the life of the party and enjoyed good conversation with family and friends, especially if it included food. At the beginning of a meal John would say “I’m so happy right now”. Where people gathered John would bring out a board games, card games, or dice. At these times, John’s humor and love would steal the show. His love for gaming didn’t end at home. He liked the craps tables at the Big M Casino boat, Las Vagas, and Atlantic City. There he showed his luck and skill by frequently winning; which helped pay for the next trip.

He is survived by his loving siblings, Mary Markovich (Michael) of Southgate, MI, and Tom Angelucci (Kay) of Stevens, PA; a large extended family, and sizable group of friends.

John was preceded in death by his brother, David Angelucci.
