John Edward Baker

John Edward Baker, Sr., 72, of Cape Coral, formerly of Westminster, MD, passed away Monday, April 28, 2025 in Cape Coral. He was born February 18, 1953 in Baltimore, MD to Charles and Gladys Baker, now deceased.

John loved music, his guitars and The Beatles. Known as Mr. Grey Shoes and later Mr. Ponytail. He could fix anything, enjoyed his family. Don’t ask his opinion if you don’t want the truth.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Brenda Baker of Cape Coral; two brothers (William, Robert) and two sisters (Barbara and Linda) and their spouses. Two children, John Edward Baker, Jr. (Ann) of Columbia, MD and Shaun Derek Baker of MD; stepchildren, Sherrie Quevedo of Cape Coral and Ray Quevedo, IV (Chris) of MD, five grandchildren as well as three great grandchildren. John was not only preceded in death by his parents, but also his by his brother Charles and a grandson as well.

No formal services are planned at this time.
