John Frank Faccioli

June 26, 1969 — June 7, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of John "Frankie" Faccioli, 55, a Cape Coral, Florida resident since 1994 who lost his courageous battle with cancer. Formerly of Rensselaer, New York, passed away June 7th, 2025, in Cape Coral. He was born June 26th, 1969, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late John and Virginia Faccioli.

Frank graduated from Rensselaer High School in 1987 and obtained his associates degree at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY.

Frank was larger than life—his personality, his laugh, and his bass guitar all resonated with soul, rhythm, and unmatched warmth. His absence leaves behind what can only be described as a Frank-sized hole in the lives of all who loved him.

Frank was an avid musician whose love for music knew no bounds. Whether it was rock, jazz, r&b, soul, or salsa- he embraced all genres with passion. He loved listening to Pitbull "Mr. 305 WorldWide" and Marc Anthony. You could often find him sitting with a cigar, a glass of whiskey & enjoying his albums. His talent as a bass guitarist brought him into the company of many bands—and even once onstage with the legendary Alicia Keys. He played in many bands; Another Life, Direct Message, Helivs, Everything I Am and Jeremy Camp. With his love in Christian faith, he played in many churches with joy. He and his wife loved watching M.A.S.H and cooking together. Above all, he loved God and thanked him for his daily blessings. God was his eternal inheritance; perhaps his most treasured musical legacy is the endless collection of thousands of vinyl records he lovingly curated over a lifetime.

He wore many hats with pride throughout his journey. And not just Fedoras. In his younger years while living in Upstate NY, he was a well-known figure in the local nightlife scene, proudly securing the doors of many bars and clubs as a trusted and respected bouncer with his brother in arms Samm Sutton.

He served with honor as a police officer on Sanibel Island, Florida. He held a black belt in karate, practiced with quiet discipline, and approached life with the same strength and grace. Frank was also a funeral director & in his spare time, assisted Shannon Mullins at Mullins Memorial Funeral Home. He spent the later years of his life as a dedicated Business Development Ambassador at Victor Distributing Company—roles that showcased both his professionalism and his deep compassion for people.

Above all, Frank was a devoted family man. He is survived by and was a loving father to Macy Faccioli of Sarasota, FL and Anthony Faccioli of Asheboro, NC, and a doting godfather to Alexa Ruchel-Brierley of Albany, NY, with whom he shared a special bond that only deepened over the years. He adored his wife, his queen Eunice Olivo Llanera, and their 16 years together were a beautiful blend of Sicilian tradition and Puerto Rican culture—a joyful, spicy, and soulful marriage that turned every moment into music. He loved his heritage. He was so proud. They enjoyed listening to each other tell nostalgic stories of their childhood. His respect and friendship with his first wife, Jennifer Faccioli Dant, reflected his generous heart and unwavering loyalty.

Frank’s life was rich with ritual and faith. Every weekend, without fail, you could count on him to get a car wash and a haircut—his signature way to reset and reflect. His devotion to God was steadfast, and he lived his life grounded in love, forgiveness, and faith.

He will be profoundly missed by his lifelong friends from Rensselaer, NY; Ann Ruchel, Tim Burek, The Sill Family, Tracy Britt and best friends from Cape Coral, FL; Kenny Cacase, Mark Goldberg, John Tedeski of Pa., and John Lund of Englewood,FL who were his brothers in all but blood. Along with the whole Victor Distributing family, the Barnum family and Larry Briggs. His mother in law Virginia Olivo and brother in law, Jonas "Jojo" Olivo, along with the rest of the Llanera family, Nadja Cruz and family, Uncle William "Bill" Faccioli, cousin Ralph Faccioli and our loving Pitbull Jet.

Frank was deeply loved and will always be remembered for the joy he brought into every room, the music that followed him wherever he went, and the unconditional love he gave to those around him.

Rest easy, Frankie. You will be missed beyond words can describe.

The beat won’t be the same without you.
