John J. "Jack" Price, III

John Joseph (Jack) Price III, Cape Coral, Florida, passed from this life on February 13, 2018 at Cape Coral, Florida. Jack was a seasonal resident of South Egremont, MA. Son of John J. Jr. and Anna (Noonan) Price, he was born in Waterbury, CT on January 21, 1924 and was a graduate of Waterbury's Crosby High School. Following high school, he attended (MA) The College of the Holy Cross, St. Mary's University, Harvard Graduate School of Education, Boston College Graduate School and (NY) Fordham University. He taught at (IN) Culver Military Academy, (MA) Lee High School, Newton College of the Sacred Heart, (CT) Crosby High School and (KS) University of St. Mary. He was Principal of Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford, CT and retired in 1983 as Superintendent of Schools. Jack's wife, Mary K. (Leary) Price was Chair of the English Department at Wilby High School, Waterbury, CT. She preceded him in death in 1988. Burial Arrangements are being handled by Finnerty and Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington, MA.
