Joseph Robert Germain

Joseph Robert Germain, aged 84, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025. A devoted husband of 60 years to Patricia, a loving father to three children, Suzanne, Michele and Robert, a proud grandfather to 13 and a joyful new great-grandfather to one, Joe's life was a beautiful testament to family, kindness, and service.

Born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, Joe and his beloved wife raised their family in Stoughton, Massachusetts. In 2002, they relocated to their dream home in Cape Coral, Florida, where they created countless cherished memories with their family and friends.

Joe enjoyed a fulfilling 30 year career with Xerox and built an IT service company with his son before retiring and joining West Marine, where his love for the water and boats found a natural home. Joe was a proud U.S. Coast Guard veteran and a committed volunteer at the Brotherhood of Heroes, always eager to lend a hand to fellow veterans in need.

Joe was a man with a rare gift: he never met a stranger. His warm smile, easy laugh, and genuine interest in others made every person he encountered feel welcomed and valued. Those who knew him will remember his stories, his sense of humor, and his unwavering love and support for his family.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and generosity that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends and the many lives he touched along the way.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Saint Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, located at 1922 SW. 20th Ave, Cape Coral, FL 33991. A celebration of life will follow from 2:30-5:00PM at Brotherhood of Heroes, located at 4522 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, FL.
