Joseph Turner Kirkpatrick, 51, made Cape Coral his home for the past three years. He moved from England to Canada at the age of nine with his parents, brother, and sister. He grew up in Sudbury, Ontario. Joseph left Canada to move to the United States for greater professional opportunities in 2000. He lived in many states and embraced the culture in all the areas he resided. He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on January 16, 2015 in Fort Myers. He was born on June 30, 1963 in Chorley, England.

Joseph was a man who filled his short life of 51 years with that of somebody who lived to 200.

He was a loving father, cherished son, passionate partner, protective brother, generous uncle, loyal friend, diligent colleague.

Joseph loved his family - both by blood or by bond - fiercely and unconditionally. He was honest, kind, giving and seriously fun. He was soft in that there was nothing he would not do for somebody he loved yet he most certainly did not suffer fools lightly. Known for having a somewhat colorful vocabulary when describing things, he was also incredibly intelligent and became a highly successful trader.

His success allowed him to travel extensively, explore his passion for scuba diving and going very, very fast in his cars and motorcycles. He loved cooking, especially on the BBQ, the more people around the pool, the better. His passion for life was explosive and infectious. Laughter filled his home.

He is survived by his loving mother, Margaret Kirkpatrick (loving father, Thomas Kirkpatrick predeceased in 2008) of Sudbury, Ontario Canada; four loving children, Cassandra Kade of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, Joseph Kirkpatrick, Jr. of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, Jessica Kirkpatrick of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, and Christopher Kirkpatrick of Cape Coral, FL; brother, Thomas Kirkpatrick of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada and sister, Diane Baigrie (Ronald) of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada; life partner, Sabrina Pierson of Cape Coral, FL; grandson, Mason Kirkpatrick of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends.
