Judith “Judy” Carmine McIver, 71, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on October 2, 2021, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late William Haygood Carmine of Fort Myers and the late Madeline Magaha Carmine of Fort Myers. She was also the sister to the late William "Billy" H. Carmine, Jr of Fort Myers. She was a fourth generation Fort Myers native.
Judy is a graduate of Fort Myers High School, Class of 1968. She was very involved with not only the Edison Pageant of Light but also with Women's Community Club where she became their President one year and was in charge of the Holiday House at the Edison Home. She was also an active member of First Baptist Church in downtown Fort Myers and had served on many committees.
Judy leaves behind her daughter, Kelly Planthaber (McIver), son in law, Johnathan Planthaber, son, Michael "Barrett" McIver, Jr., daughter in law, Rosie McIver, daughter, Emily Elizabeth McIver, son, William "Tyler" McIver and daughter in law, Rebecca Tellup. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Michael Ferrando, Madelyn Planthaber, Macy Planthaber, Zachary McIver, Brooklyn Alvarado and Samantha McIver.
