June E. Garlin

June Elizabeth Garlin, 59, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL for the past 31 years, formerly of Saginaw, MI, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 in Cape Coral, FL. She was born July 1, 1958 in Pontiac, MI to George and Barbara Benjamin, now deceased. June was a CNA, Daughter, Wife, sister, mother, grandmother and caretaker. She spent 27 years of her life doing foster care and taking care of the medically needy. She always had an open-door policy, anyone she knew could come stay with her indefinitely. She's best known for giving more than she took. She loved going to the pool, eating ice cream for dinner and having fun at the beach. It seemed as though throughout her life the only thing that could slow her down or stop her would be frogs at the front door. If you ask her, her greatest accomplishments she would say her children. If you ask her children, their greatest hero they would say their mother. She will be truly missed. She is survived by six loving children, Kali Garlin (Fabian Jackson) of Kissimmee, FL, Nateria Garlin of North Ft. Myers, Brittany Garlin of North Ft. Myers, Brianna Garlin of Bradenton, FL, Diamond Garlin of North Ft. Myers, and Nasja Garlin of North Ft. Myers; four siblings, Ann LaMotte (Tom) of Fort Myers, FL, Judy Dalessandro of Naples, FL, George Benjamin of Naples, FL and Patricia Keller (Kevin) of Cape Coral; six grandchildren, Stacey, Allden, Fabian, Elijah, Brison and Zane; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by a husband, Mitchell Garlin, Jr.; and a brother, Allen Benjamin. Private family services will be held.
