Justin Ray Brooks

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Justin Ray Brooks on September 30, 2024. Born and raised in Cape Coral, Justin was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of everyone around him. A proud graduate of Ida Baker High School, class of 2010, he was known for his infectious smile and warm heart.

Justin is survived by his devoted mother, Dawn Brooks; his father, Ray Brooks; and his stepmother, Patricia Brooks. He leaves behind his cherished sisters, Chantelle and Mia Brooks, along with his adored nephews, Solon, Atlas, and Xavier. His loyal companion, a beloved dog named Miley, will also miss him dearly. Justin is further survived by numerous grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins, some of whom have preceded him in death.

An avid fisherman, Justin found joy in the tranquility of the water and the thrill of the catch. His passion for the outdoors was matched only by his love for family and friends. He had a unique ability to bring people together, and his laughter will echo in the hearts of all who knew him.

Justin's sudden departure has left a void that can never be filled, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A celebration of Justin's life was held October 13 at the Firestone Grill, where friends and family gathered to share memories and honor the remarkable person he was.

Rest in peace, Justin. You will always be loved and remembered.
