Karen Rebecca Young

In loving memory of Karen Rebecca Young, 56, a resident of Florida passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, in Cape Coral, FL. She was born October 24, 1967, in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands.

Karen was a cherished daughter, sister, loyal friend, esteemed colleague, and retired educator, whose passion for photography, music, singing, and writing enriched countless lives. A creative spirit with a profound faith in Jesus as her guiding light, Karen’s artistic vision infused her work with beauty and depth, touching hearts and inspiring minds.

She dedicated herself to nurturing minds, with her students occupying the sacred chambers of her heart, embodying the very essence of her being as an educator.

Her artwork echoed soulful poetry, symphonies of music, visual strokes of art, and snapshots of photography. Each creation was a testament to the richness of her expression.

She wove intricate tapestries of thought through her writings, leaving lasting imprints upon our hearts. Like grains of sand touched by the vast expanse of her oceanic words, we found ourselves engulfed in the warm glow of her sunset smile.

As we bid farewell to her physical presence, let us carry forward the legacy she has left behind, cherishing the memories of her artistry, dedication to God and education, and profound impact on each of our lives. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in every stroke of creativity, every lesson imparted, and every word she penned.

She will be dearly missed, but her legacy of creativity and faith will endure in the lives she touched. Rest In Praise

She is survived by her loving mother, four siblings, along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and sister-in-law. 

Under Karen’s wishes, a private family viewing will be held.
