Kathryn Elaine Purvis

Kathryn Elaine Purvis, 48, a lifelong resident of Lee County, FL, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023 in Cape Coral. She was born October 23, 1974 in Fort Myers, FL to Joseph and Betty Purvis, now deceased.

Kathryn was a graduate of Buckingham Exceptional Student Center, class of 1996 and she was also a client at the LARC Day program for many years. She loved to sing and listen to music, read magazines and work on her beads. Kathryn loved her group home family and was always smiling. She will be missed by many and loved by all.

She is survived by her twin sister, Karen Myers of North Fort Myers, FL, and her brother, Richard Higgs of Garden Ridge, TX; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her brother, James Lipscomb.
