Kenneth Jerome Ahlgren

Kenneth Jerome Ahlgren, 84, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL for the past three and a half years, formerly of Burnsville, MN passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born in Austin, MN to Floyd and Florence Ahlgren, now deceased. Ken was a great father, loving husband and a mentor to many. He attended Carlton College and the University of Minnesota, graduating with an Engineering Degree. He enjoyed boating, skiing, a good book and family gatherings. His perseverance in hard times was truly an inspiration. He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Judy More of North Fort Myers; four loving children, Kim Logsdon (Bruce) of CA, Jon Ahlgren (Tammy) of CA, Doug More (Susanne) of MN, and Mike Nehls (Keli) of OR; daughter-in-law, Tami Ahlgren of MN; two sisters, Sharon Wagner (Richard) of IN and Sharlot Roeder (Walter) of MN; 14 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; as well as one great great grandchild. Ken was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Ahlgren. No formal services are planned at this time.
