Kenneth W. Harrold

Kenneth W. Harrold, 76, a resident of LaBelle, FL for the past two years, formerly of Greensburg, PA, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023, in LaBelle. He was born August 11, 1947, in Hunker, PA to Glenn and Lillie Harrold, now deceased.

Ken was of the Byzantine Catholic faith, and was a member of All Saints Byzantine Catholic Church in North Fort Myers, FL. He attended Southmoreland High School and at age 21, joined the United States Marine Corps. He served a short term in Vietnam before receiving a war inflicted injury which he received a Purple Heart for.

Ken enjoyed hunting, working on cars, fishing, and especially spending time with his family. He worked at Pennsylvania Concrete Vault for over 20 years. He then worked for the Churchill Borough and drove bus for DMJ Transportation before his retirement. After retirement, Ken devoted his time to his family. He spent time watching his grandchildren, taking care of his wife while she battled cancer, and addressing any and all problems his family faced.

He is survived by his loving children, Melissa Hollis (Nathan), and Michael Harrold (Amber) both of LaBelle; sister, Patricia Baltich (Michael) of New Stanton, PA; grandchildren, Ethan, Emily, Dominik, and Kaitlyn; several nieces and nephews; as well as Smokey the dog, his buddy.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Ann Harrold in November of 2021; brother, Robert and sister, Nancy.

Parastas will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at All Saints Byzantine Catholic Church, 10291 Bayshore Road, N. Ft. Myers, FL 33917.

Office of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 3, 2023, at All Saints Byzantine Catholic Church, 10291 Bayshore Road, N. Ft. Myers, FL 33917 with Father Steven Galuschik officiating.
