Larry Edward Wilcoxson

Larry Edward Wilcoxson, 77, a Cape Coral, FL resident for the past 19 years, formerly of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 in Cape Coral. He was born October 20, 1938 in Fort Wayne, IN to Lloyd and Barbara Wilcoxson, now deceased. After graduating high school in 1956, he joined the 122^nd Squadron of the Indiana Air National Guard, until activated into the US Air Force in 1961 during the Berlin Crisis. He was honorably discharged in Jan. 1963. He was employed in industrial management until retirement in 1997, when he moved to Cape Coral. Larry was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, and served on the Church Council as Property Chairman from 2009 thru 2014. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Wilcoxson of Cape Coral; son, Joseph Edward Wilcoxson and wife Tamara of Fort Wayne; as well as two grandchildren, Samuel and Grace. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM on Friday, January 8, 2016 at the Messiah Lutheran Church, 2691 NE Pine Island Rd, Cape Coral, FL 33909, with Pastor Charles "Rusty" May officiating. Memorial Contributions in memory of Larry Wilcoxson are suggested to the Messiah Lutheran Memorial Fund, 2691 NE Pine Island Rd, Cape Coral, FL 33909.
