Laura Ann Caraotta

Laura Ann Caraotta, 52, a Cape Coral, FL resident for over 20 years, formerly of IA, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 in Cape Coral. She was born July 21, 1963 in Davenport, IA. Laura loved her Lord and was a Christian. She was an amazing woman who fought hard until the end. We are so very proud of her and know that she received quite the homecoming from our Savior. We are thankful for every second we had on this earth with her. Laura was loved by all, especially by her husband Kevin. The two worked alongside one another for many years and grew their business, their family and their relationship along the way. Laura was a loving mother who always approached things with a kind and quiet spirit that is to be admired. She enjoyed a good laugh and always had a smile on her face. Laura's influence on her entire family will live on for generations. She is survived by her beloved husband of 14 years, Kevin Caraotta of Cape Coral; loving mother, Rose Forberger of Cape Coral; loving father, William Bragg of IA; five loving children, Justin Dovey of Ft. Myers, FL, Ryan Dovey (Kalyn) of Estero, FL, Marissa Caraotta of Cape Coral. Kimberly Squicciarini (Christopher) of Cape Coral. Kristin Davenport (Michael) of Cape Coral, and Kevin Caraotta, Jr. of Ft. Myers; seven siblings, Arnold Smith, Robert Smith, Cindy Smith, Susan Hathaway, Karen Rheinschmidt, Julie Ingersoll and William Bragg Jr.; six grandchildren, Noah, Owen, Anden, Kinsley, Lily, and Genevieve; mother and father in law, Eugene and Ginny Caraotta of Cape Coral; as well as Bella the family dog. A Celebration of Life will be held 5:30 PM Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Cape Christian Fellowship, 2110 Chiquita Blvd., Cape Coral, FL 33991 with Pastor Dennis Gingerich officiating.
