Leatrice Arlene Hanson, 91, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL since 2008, formerly of East Greenbush, NY, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022 in North Fort Myers. She was born October 16, 1931 in Lavelle, PA to Winfield and Evelyn Hodge, now deceased.
Leatrice was a devoted wife and mother. After her retirement from Verizon, she became an avid golfer. She had 7 “holes in one,” 6 times while in her eighties- her last one at the age of 89!
She is survived by five loving children, Michael Hanson of Palmyra, VA, Katherine “Kate” Gorman (David) of Round Lake, NY, Robert “Bob” Hanson, Jr. (Donnaleigh) of Fairfield, CA, William (Bill) Hanson of North Fort Myers, FL, and Julie Miller (Thomas) of East Greenbush, NY; son in law, Ronald Kelly of Bedford Hills, NY; ten grandchildren; as well as six great grandchildren.
Leatrice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert “Bud” Hanson in 2006; as well as a daughter, Diane Kelly in 2011.
Leatrice will be interred with her beloved husband in New York in the spring.
